At Spina Team, we’re proud to celebrate the partnership between our own Mia Ochoa and Kelly Hill of ZSFab — bringing surgeons, hospitals, and ASCs hands-on product education, inventory support, case coverage, and responsive service.
One of the technologies we’re excited to support: ZSFab’s InterConnect™ system, which tackles a common misconception in spine surgery — that titanium cages always create significant imaging artifacts.
Thanks to advances in 3D printing, that’s outdated thinking. InterConnect™’s highly porous titanium lattice promotes bone ingrowth and allows excellent visualization under X-ray and CT, so surgeons can confidently confirm implant positioning and track fusion over time.
What makes this possible is the lattice itself. InterConnect™ implants use a combination of advanced lattice structures engineered to mimic natural bone. Because the lattice is open rather than solid, fluoroscopy and CT can see through the implant — giving surgeons a clear view of bone growth and implant positioning that solid titanium simply doesn’t allow. That same open structure also helps activate new bone growth, driving a more efficient fusion process.
